ATHENS - Christopher A. Drake, 30, died Thursday, November 3, 2011.
A native of Athens, he was the son of Roy Drake and Alma Massingale. He was a self-employed heating and air technician and was a Combat Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Amy Drake, Athens; daughters, Briana Lopez, Athens, and Mariena Drake, Rainbow City, Ala.; brothers, Roy Lee Drake Jr. and Joshua Drake, both of Athens, and Chad Drake, Ila; paternal grandfather, Luther Drake; and maternal grandmother, Annie Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6, in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 5, at the funeral home.
Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
