ATHENS – Thelma Louise Pearson, 91, of the South Jackson County Community, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Fannie Mosley Roberts. She was a machine operator for Angus Manufacturing and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elco Pearson; daughter, Mary Ann Bond; and a son, Robert Wayne Pearson.
Survivors include sons, David Pearson, James Pearson and Billy Pearson; nieces, Karen Prather and Margaret Pierce; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, has charge of arrangements.
