J. Harold Bennett (10-26-11)

FLOWERY BRANCH - J. Harold Bennett, 72, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 following an extended illness.

He was born September 16, 1939, the son of the late James Kenneth and Annie Laurie Bennett. Harold served in the United States Air Force, was a graduate of Clemson University, and worked as a salesman for Agco, Inc for 40 years. Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Bennett.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Patricia Harris Bennett; son, Mark Bennett, Flowery Branch; uncle, Tommy Bennett, Mauldin, S.C.; and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. John Roark will officiate. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. until service hour Saturday, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
