JEFFERSON - Kenneth William Foster, 103, died on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
He was born in Orchard Lake, Mich., the son of the late William and Margaret Phillips Foster. Mr. Foster was a typesetter for the General Electric Corporation and for a while, owned and operated a Hunting Lodge in Holton Lake, Mich. Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Marten Foster; and sisters, Florence O’Brien and Dorothy Hazen.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Abee, Jefferson; and son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marlene Foster, Canandaigua, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Michael Helms officiating.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
