HOSCHTON - Viola Cleveland Timms, 92, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011.
A native of Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Hattie Allison Cleveland. Mrs. Timms was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Ray A. Timms; and children, Evelyn Timms and Jimmy Timms. She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church, was a retired farmer, and was a retiree of Georgia Shoe of Flowery Branch.
Survivors include children, Rachel Timms Taylor, Betty T. Capes and Jack R. Timms, all of Hoschton, Frances Timms Brock and Johnny Timms, both of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and a brother, Franklin Cleveland, Gainesville.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 20, at 3 p.m., from Chestnut Mountain Church Cemetery with Mr. Johnny Timms officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
