James "Buddy" Arnold (10-16-11)

CARLTON - "Buddy" James Ervin Arnold, 75, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at his residence.

A native of Walker, La., he was the son of the late John and Florence Arnold. He was preceded in death by his wife, "Beanie" Cletta Strickland-Arnold; and two granddaughters, Victoria Arnold and Marsha Arnold.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Arnold and Kirk Arnold; three daughters, Lisa Arnold-Smith, Tara Arnold-Kuhn and Jana Arnold; nine grandchildren, Teleisha Arnold-King, Brenda Arnold-Finch, Mark Arnold II, Jessica Smith-Jones, Joshua Smith, Ellen Kuhn-Bridges, Taylar Arnold-Sherrill, Mallory Arnold and Spencer Arnold; 10 great-grandchildren, Joshua King, Samantha King, Matthew King, EiMali Jones, AbbyGail Jones, Elizabeth Smith, Grace Smith, Carlie Bridges, Hailey Sherrill and Cameron Sherrill; a sister, Gloria Arnold-Langston; and six brothers, JD Arnold, Willie Arnold, Jerry Arnold, Charles Arnold, Doug Arnold and David Arnold.

A graveside service will be held at Carlton Cemetery on Friday, October 21, at 11 a.m.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
