COMMERCE - Henry Lee “Tom” Brown, 86, went home to be with 11 siblings, two wives, and his mother and father on Sunday, October 16, 2011.
He was born May 12, 1925 the son of the late Charlie W. and Nora Smith Brown. He is the last of 12 siblings. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, VFW Post 909, the Masons, American Legion Post 100, and was a veteran of World War II. Tom was loved, admired and was respected by all he came in contact with.
Survivors include special friends, Shirl and Randy Hart, Commerce; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 18, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Wilson, Swayne Cochran and Charles Elrod officiating. Burial will be in the Blacks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
