James David Jr. (10-12-11)

MAYSVILLE - James Howard David, Jr., 49, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Jackson County the son of Verner Sue Lord David of Danielsville and the late James Howard David, Sr. He was employed with Aldridge Construction.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Carol Seay David, Maysville; sons, Clayton David, Danielsville, Scott Brock, Hull, and Chris Heath, Maysville; daughters, Adrienne David and Sheri Sorrow, both of Maysville; brother, Steve David, Maysville; sister, Janice Brown, Danielsville; grandchildren, Kynlee Griffin, Hunter and Boston Heath, Taylor Sorrow, Destiny, Austin, and Kyler Brock.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14 at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Seay, Chris Heath, and Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 13, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
