Charles Geary (10-12-11)

COMMERCE - Charles Edward Geary, 58, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Kentucky the son of the late Charles Henry and Martha Elizabeth Bates Geary. He worked in commercial construction. Mr. Geary was preceded in death by his first wife, Pamela Davis Geary.

Survivors include his second wife, Deloral S. Barron Geary, Commerce; daughters, Donna Hutson, Selena Miller, Pami Edmonds and Beth Johnson, all of Illinois, and Tina Sanders, Homer; son, Charles Geary II, Commerce; brothers, Paul, Joe, Daniel, and Steve Geary, all of Kentucky; sisters, Marcella, Texas, and Martha Marie Geary, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; stepchildren, Elizabeth Barron, Indiana, Louise, Delta, Sara Lynn, Sammy, Hal, Hershal and Joe Barron, all of Illinois.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
