Angela Ellington (10-10-11)

MAYSVILLE - Angela Lois Adams Ellington, 48, died Monday, October 10, 2011, in Athens, as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born on August 21, 1963, in Habersham County, the daughter of Gary Claude Adams and stepmother Sharlotte Adams of Cleveland. She attended The Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Ellington was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Goude Bishop.

Survivors in addition to her father and stepmother, include her husband, Allen Ellington, Maysville; a daughter, Jasmine Nicole Ellington, Maysville; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Jenny McIntyre, Molena; brothers, Phillip Adams, Cornelia, Jonathan Adams, Macon, and Greg Adams, Commerce; sisters, Patsy Adamson, Cleveland, Annette Whistler, Lula, Dawn Perry, Jefferson; and grandchildren, Alexis McIntyre and Nicholas McIntyre.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.

Coggins Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of arrangements.
