JEFFERSON – Carlos Johnson, 65, died Saturday, September 3, 2011.
Born in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son of the late Carvel and Iva Johnson. He owned his own plumbing business for more than 30 years. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a brother, John Johnson; and sister, Marthy Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Tim Schroeder; grandchildren, Donnie and Jacob Schroeder; sister, Harriett Phelps; brothers, Paul, Frank, Harley and Carson Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 15, at 2 p.m. from Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Statham.
The family would like to thank the staff of Silverleaf Hospice for their care and service in his final days.
