Randyl Simmons (10-4-11)

JEFFERSON - Randyl Nixon Simmons, 62, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011.

Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Clyde and Lola Mae Austin Simmons. Mr. Simmons was a Master Barber for over 40 years in the Winder area and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Holder Simmons, Jefferson; daughter, Laura Simmons, Jefferson; son, Ashley (Sai) Simmons, Pendergrass; brothers, Billy Simmons, Pendergrass, and Joe Simmons, Mike Simmons and Mark Simmons, all of Jefferson; and one grandchild, Tyler Simmons.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 6, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Braselton Church of God Cemetery.
