Donnie Gene Freeman (9-20-11)

BRASELTON – Donnie Gene Freeman, 60, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011.

He was the son of Vernon Freeman and the late Helen Whitley Freeman. He was retired from General Motors and loved to fish and deer hunt. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by a twin brother, Ronnie Dean Freeman.

Survivors in addition to his father include a son, Shane Freeman, wife Stacey, Braselton, Skip Freeman, wife Brandy, Winder; daughter, Crystalle Freeman, Winder; and granddaughter, Chelsea Freeman Joney, Lawrenceville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22, at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Allen Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the funeral services.

Lawson Funeral Home, Hoschton, is in charge of arrangements.
