Mrs. Dean Streetman (9/20/11)

JEFFERSON – Willie “Mammie” Streetman, 73, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011.

She was born in Jefferson, the daughter of the late J.B. and Ruby Crane Huntsinger. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother, and a member of the Arcade Community Church. Mrs. Streetman was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Streetman; grandson, Doug Streetman; and brothers, Wallace and Donald Huntsinger.

Survivors include sons, Steve Streetman, Commerce, Brent Streetman, Jefferson, and Jeff Streetman, Commerce; daughter, Becky Prosser, Jefferson; sisters, Peggy Porter, Jefferson, and Hazel Robinson, Milstead; brother, Bobby Huntsinger, Clarkston; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Faye Roberts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Mobley and Palmer Pace officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park with Brian Williamson, Taylor, Josh, Cody, Steve, Todd and Daniel Streetman honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22 evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
