JEFFERSON - Mary Wright Nalley, 86, died on Saturday September 17, 2011 at her residence following a period of declining health.
She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Harve and Lelia Ivy Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Nalley was preceded in death by her husband, James Emory Nalley; and three brothers, H.J. Wright, Robert Wright, and Thomas Wright.
Survivors include daughters, Maggie Hutchins, Joyce (Buster) Covington, and Jeanette (David) Skelton, all of Jefferson; brothers, Ernest Wright, Newnan, and Virgil Wright, Lilburn; grandchildren, Mark Fowler, DeeDee Garrett and Christy Beck; great-grandchildren, Clay, Jesse, Jay and Summer Fowler, Allen and Danielle Garrett, Trey and Trent Beck; and great-great-grandchildren, Marlee and Mylee Garrett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday September 19, at 2 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Swayne Cochran officiating. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Fowler, Clay Fowler, Jesse Fowler, Jay Fowler, Allen Garrett, Trey Beck and Trent Beck.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
