Kimberly Smith (9-13-11)

NICHOLSON - Kimberly Potts Smith, 49, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Silva, N.C., the daughter of Larry Potts (Celeste) and Jean Childers. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of River of Life Worship Center.

Survivors in addition to her parents, include her husband, Ricky Smith, Nicholson; sons, Nicholas Arostegui and Josh Smith, both of Nicholson; son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Kerry Smith, Nicholson; daughter, Shawn Stamey, Nicholson; sisters, Ginger Antwine, Athens, and Nancy Hunter, Canton; and five grandchildren, Landon, Allie, Bella, Caitlin, and Jessica.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 15, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night, September 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.
