Beulah Flora Hebbring “Bobbie” Pruett died peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2011.

She attended the Stanley public school system and Beulah Heights University (formerly Beulah Heights Bible College) in Atlanta, Ga., where she graduated Valedictorian with the class of 1940. She met her future husband, Ernest Paul Pruett, Sr. there and together they served God in the Georgia Assemblies of God Church organization for many years. Sister Pruett led the WMCs and was a tremendous leader, speaker and Sunday School teacher. Her love for God never faltered in her 94 years of life as was evidenced by her incredible prayers and sweet countenance.

After the death of her husband in 2009, ‘Bobbie’ (named by her grandson, Justin) moved to Memphis to live the rest of her life with her youngest daughter, Darlene and son-in-law, Mike. She attended church at Hope Presbyterian and was much loved and cared for by family, friends and the incredible hospice staff of Methodist LeBonheur. She put a smile on the faces of those around her with her never failing wit and ability to belt out a heartfelt dinner prayer. She was a woman of strong faith with no doubt who holds tomorrow.
