ALTO - Wesley Glenn Martin, 59, died on Thursday, September 1, 2011.
Mr. Martin was born in Hall County, on August 11, 1952. He was the son of Dorothy Ervin Martin Garner and stepfather, Paul Garner of Alto, and the late Rufus Noah Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of the Living Mission United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather include sisters and brothers-in-law, Patti Cecil Worley, Homer, and Carol and Dale Carter, Lula; stepsister, Tammy Murray, Cornelia; stepsister and brother-in-law, Jean and Kerry Collins, Gainesville; brother, David Martin, Alto; step-brother and sister-in-law, Timmy and Sandra Garner, Lula; 12 nieces and nephews; and five great-nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with Pastor Deron Crocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Living Mission United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Billy Nipper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin.
