Landon Sosby (8-23-11)

COMMERCE – Landon William Sosby, infant son of Tyson and Larkin Sosby of Commerce, went to live with Jesus on Tuesday, August 23, 2011.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Kailey Sosby; grandparents, George and Yvonne Sosby, Commerce, and Bill and Beth Holloway, Colbert; paternal grandfathers, George Sosby Sr. and the late Virginia Sosby, Martin, and Otis Peace and the late Ethelyn Peach, Eastanollee; maternal uncle and aunt, Buck and Donna Holloway, Commerce; maternal aunt, Eden Gillespie, Colbert; and great aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private memorial service was held Sunday, August 28, at the Erastus Christian Church in Commerce with the Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
