Helen Fae Turner, 58, of Alto, died Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Habersham Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Born in Hall County on June 7, 1950, she was the daughter of Lottie Turner of Alto and the late Bennie Turner. She was a homemaker and was Holiness. Mrs. Turner enjoyed spending time with her family, music and traveling.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include a daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Shane Ayers, Alto; a special friend, Johnny Brock, Alto; sister, Benny Mae Abernathy, Alto; grandchildren, Benjamin and Brady Ayers; nephews, David, Dale and Wayne Abernathy; and a niece, Becky Skelton.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 17, at 4 p.m., at the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church with the Revs. J. Clarence Reynolds and John Graham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
