Claudine Williams (8-20-11)

AUBURN - Claudine West Williams, 74, entered her heavenly home Saturday, August 20, 2011.

A native of Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ever Luther West. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Williams, on March 5, 2009. Mrs. Williams was a longtime employee of the Barrow County School System, where she worked in food service at Auburn Elementary School. She was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church. She graciously touched everyone with her loving smile and dedication to the Lord and will forever be remembered by friends and family.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Lisa Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Mark Patrick; grandchildren, Cale Williams and Chad Williams, all of Auburn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie and Winford Gower, Hog Mountain, and Betty and Mark Hughes, Lawrenceville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, August 22, from 5 to 9 p.m.
