Watson Hall (8-16-11)

ROYSTON – Lee Watson “Wat” Hall, 90, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.

Born in Madison County on September 2, 1920, he was the son of the late Lindsey Johnson and Addie Christian Hall. He was a self-employed contractor and member of the New Bethel Congregation Holiness Church. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Cheek Hall; brothers, Herbert and Clint Hall; and a sister, Malittie Smith.

Survivors include a sister, Geneva H. Ray, Bowman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, at 11 a.m., from Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Gunn officiating. Burial will be in the New Bethel Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Thursday, August 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.
