Brian Butler

Brian Cole Butler, 22, of Commerce, died Sunday, July 27, 2008.

Born on September 9, 1985, he was the son of Roger and Peggy Butler. He was a student at the University of Georgia and also attended Athens Technical College. His passion was baseball, which he played his entire life. He was a member of the Athens Area Men’s Baseball League.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include a brother, Chuck Butler; sister-in-law, Tanya Butler; niece, Carlie Rae Butler; and grandparents, Riley and Carolyn Hayes.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 29, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral home with Pastor Jeff Appling officiating. Burial was at Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
