Caryl Cronic (8-10-11)

BRASELTON - Caryl Hansard Cronic, 71, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011.

She was born the daughter of the late H.D. and Jamie Annell Wheeler Hansard in Forsyth County. She was a graduate of Brenau College and taught in Hall County and the Gainesville City School System for many years. She also worked over 21 years in the Gainesville area banks. She attended Mountain View Baptist Church in Stone Mountain.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Ronnie Richardson, Braselton, Tara and Mike Perdue, Cornelia; sister, Mary Hansard Walden, Maysville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Jerry Woodall, Gainesville, Ann and Roger Dougherty, Panama City Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Clark Richardson, Heather Bowen, and Mikaela Cochran; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Tikki.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home in Flowery Branch with the Rev. Eric Cranston and Leland Baggett officiating. Burial will be at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery, 2621 Buford Dam Rd., Cumming GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
