Born in Wichita, Kan., on September 27, 1992, she was the daughter of Major John Cummings and Kathy Cummings of Frankfurt, Germany. Alexia was visiting her parents in Germany when they were involved in a car accident on July 24, 2011. She passed away July 27, 2011 due to injuries she sustained from the accident.
She lived most of life in Longview, Texas, before recently moving to Jefferson to live with her grandparents and go to college. She was preceded in death by grandparents, J.C. and Lizzie Cummings of Texas. Alexia was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors in addition to her parents include grandparents, Jim and Ava Born, Jefferson.
A memorial service was held in Frankfurt, Germany on Wednesday, August 3. Burial will be in Longview, Texas at a later date.
