Barry Nemeth

Barry Joseph Nemeth Sr., 65, of Commerce, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.

He was born in Lansing, Mich., the son of the late Joseph Carl and Doris Ruth Millbauer Nemeth and was a loving husband and father. He was a devoted employee of the Seydel Companies for 38 years and had been currently employed for the past three years with Transport Solutions of Jacksonville, Fla. He was a 1961 graduate of Bartow High School in Bartow, Fla. Mr. Nemeth was preceded in death by brothers, Don and Dan Nemeth.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Nemeth, Commerce; daughter, Sandra Johnson, Hiram; son, Barry “Jay” Nemeth Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Margie LaFlam, Willow Oak, Fla.; grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Danielle Johnson, April Johnson Gunter, Jacob Nemeth and Max Nemeth; and a great-grandson, Brayden Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Carlton Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Kennesaw Memorial Cemetery in Marietta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
