ROYSTON – Ricky Ray Veal, 58, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Tucker.
Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Howard and Pearl Ledford Veal.
Survivors include his children, Maranda Benton, Nicholson, and Joey Veal, Bowman; siblings, Betty Williams and Fred Veal, both of Lancaster, S.C., Nellie Hasty and Elizabeth Wallace, both of Camden, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with the Rev. Harold Crawford officiating after which the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
