Evelene Walters (7-30-11)

DANIELSVILLE - Evelene Pullian Walters, 69, died Saturday, July 30, 2011.

A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Haskel and Kathleen Phillips Pullian and was preceded in death by brothers, J.T. Pullian and J.R. Pullian. She was self-employed with Dixie Special Delivery and was of the Pentecostal denomination.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Duncan and her husband, Roger, Danielsville; son, James Darrell Beard and his wife, Lisa, Danielsville; brother, Nelson Pullian, Kannapolis, N.C.; sister, Jerusha Hattaway, Danielsville; grandchildren, Melissa Beard, Brandy (James) Martin, Brittany Duncan, Amy (Jason) Martin, Andrew (Amanda) Beard, T.J. Beard, William Thomas Beard, and Dixie Epps; and great-grandchildren, Brandon Taylor, Brianna Duncan, Gavin Martin, Johnny Martin, Alex Martin, Amber Martin, Camren Beard, Madison Beard, Bradley Epps, Zachery Epps, Aiden Epps, and Aubrey Epps.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Revs. Lanier Martin and Mike Spence officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, at Bernstein Funeral Home.
