Joseph H. Mosley “Joe”, 69, a 26-year resident of Comer, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, in Florida as a result of a car accident.
Born on June 25, 1942, in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the son of the late Joseph and Ella Ruth Mosley. He spent most of his life in and around the Jacksonville area. He was well known as the “Joe” of all trades. Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by a son, John Mosley; and a brother, Roy Mosley.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Mosley; four daughters, Donna Pierce, Penny Mosley, Deana Parten and Terry Mosley; two sons, David Goodman and Frank Bennett; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald Mosley and John Mosley, all of Florida.
Graveside services will be held at Vineyards Creek Baptist church in Comer on Sunday, August 7, at 2 p.m., with Larry Green officiating. Food and fellowship will follow the service.
He will always be loved and forever be missed.
