Deborah “Debbie” Wood Stevens, 54, of Commerce, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Betty Jo Sorrow Wood, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, John Stevens, Commerce; daughters, Onessia Free, Homer, Holly Rogers, Commerce, Lelonie Ayers, Baldwin; step-daughter, Susan Sanders, Homer; step-son, Morris Stevens, Danielsville; sister, Phyllis Chandler, Commerce; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, at 10 a.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral home with the Revs. Don Blalock and Phil Parks officiating. Burial will be in the Beresa Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 15, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
