LULA - Dillard Lee Dyer, 54, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Jackson County on June 30, 1957, he was the son of the late James Hubert and Thelma Armour Dyer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior and Tony Dyer. He lived most of his life in Hall County and was of the Holiness Faith. He was self-employed in the installation of irrigation systems.
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Walter Hall, Royston; eight nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, at the Lula Assembly of Praise with the Revs. Lanier Tatum and Roland Arrowood officiating. Interment will follow at the Living Mission United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 21.
