NICHOLSON - Willa Mae Rothman, 91, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
She was born in Stephens, Ark., the daughter of the late Grady and Myrtie Crumpler Stewart. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Churches, Int. She was married to the late Rev. Walter Rothman for 67 years. They were very active in Home Missions in Gallup, N.M., Espanola, N.M., and built the first U.P.C. church in Santa Fe, N.M. Rev. Rothman served as minister of the United Pentecostal Churches, Int. for 63 years in New Mexico, Texas and Georgia, until his passing in September 2007 at the age of 91.
Survivors include daughters, Elaine Cathey and Rosie King, both of Nicholson, and Linda Nelson, Rhome, Texas; eleven grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at the graveside in the Jefferson Pentecostal Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hosch officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home, prior to the service.
