Larry Dale Wood (7-9-11)

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Larry Dale Wood, 61, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at his residence.

Born on May 24, 1950, in Greenwood, S.C., he was the son of Nelle (Moore) Wood-Tate of Greenwood, S.C. and the late George Orien Wood, both formerly of Comer. He was formerly employed with Robertson and Wade Engineering of Greenwood, S.C.

Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather, Talmadge Tate of Greenwood, S.C., include a sister, Glenda (Wood) Bundrick, Newberry, S.C.; two nieces, Leitha Bundrick and Michelle (Bundrick) Bodie; one grand-niece, Hanna Moore; two grand-nephews, JJ and Maddox Finlay, all of Newberry, S.C.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 12, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. He was buried beside his father.
