Kenneth Aldridge (7-14-11)

AUBURN - Kenneth Aldridge, 73 died Thursday, July 14, 2011.

A Barrow County native, he was the son of the late Theo and Addie Lou Stewart Aldridge. Mr. Aldridge was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Tullis Aldridge. He was a longtime member of Bethabra Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the Board of Deacons. He was a retiree of General Telephone Company and General Motors, and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include children, Ken and Laura Aldridge, Auburn, and Chris and Holly Aldridge, Jefferson; grandchildren, Bo Aldridge, Jenni Aldridge, Hop Aldridge, Max Aldridge and Anni Aldridge; and sister, Pat Green, Orlando, Fla.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 17, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Landon Frymire officiating. Burial was in the Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.
