Ann Hollis (7-16-11)

STATHAM - Ann Hollis, 88, died on Saturday, July 16, 2011.

She was born in Statham, the daughter of the late David and Paralee Akins Arnold. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church and was of the Presbyterian denomination. Her husband, David E. Hollis and her son, Jimmy Hollis, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Ronnie Henry, Statham; son, Wayne Hollis, Statham; sisters, Azalee Cole, Winder, Jurell Cain, Monroe; grandchildren, Keith Henry, Lisa Davis; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Alaina Davis.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 17, at the graveside in the Dry Pond United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Vaughn Howington officiating.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
