WINDER – “Richard” David Grafton, 71, died Thursday, July 14, 2011.
Born in Habersham County, he was the son of the late Robert Z. and Fannie Collins Grafton. He was retired – self-employed in house construction.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Grafton, Winder; stepson, Randy Martin, Monroe; stepdaughter, Beverly Casper, Winder; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. before the service.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
