COMMERCE – Rondal C. Peek, 64, died early Thursday morning, July 14, 2011, in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
Born in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Kimsey C. and Merty Vandiver Peek.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia W. Peek, Commerce; a brother, Jerry Peek, Commerce; nephews, David Peek and Eric Peek, both of Commerce, Michael Peek, Moultrie, Scott Peek, Lawrenceville, and Chris Peek, Carnesville; nine great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 17, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Loy Reed officiating after which the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, July 16, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
