COMMERCE - Christine Ley Hood, 35, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of George H. Williams, III of Gainesville, Fla. and the late, Jean Fisher Williams. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors in addition to her father, include her husband, Thomas Patrick Hood, Commerce; children, Sarai Elizabeth Hood and Jessica Hood, both of Commerce; and a brother, Jeff Williams, Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
