COLBERT - Lutrelle Escoe Phillips, 94, died Saturday, July 9, 2011.

Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Attie Hanley Escoe. She was a seamstress at Blue Bell Manufacturing for 30 years. She was the wife of the late Dupree Phillips.

Survivors include her daughter Sue Phillips, Comer; sons, Reggie Phillips, Hull, Ellis Phillips and Jerry Phillips, both of Colbert; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Monday, July 11, at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Guest officiating

Lord & Stephens Danielsville was in charge of arrangements.
