Margaret Shockey

Margaret Jamison Shockey, 87, of Gainesville, died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at the Bell Minor Home, following an extended illness.

She was born in Bent Mountain, Va., the daughter of the late Stanhope and Mary Ellen Coles Jamison.
She was the grandmother of John William Shockey of Homer.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 13, at 2 p.m., in Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke, Va.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
