Mary Stewart (7-10-11)

HULL - Mary Sivilia Drake Stewart, 89, died Sunday, July 10, 2011.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Clinton and Lillie Maude Tolbert Drake. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar R. Stewart in 2009; two sisters; and four brothers.

Mrs. Stewart was a dedicated and longtime member of Hull Baptist Church. She was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class where she served as Treasurer, member of Outreach Committee, and member of the Church Flower Committee.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Stewart (Charles) Dooley and Alice Stewart (Morris) Bullock; a sister, Nina Mae Kesler; brothers, David H. Drake and Clark Drake; sister-in-law, Wilma Drake; grandchildren, Daniel A. (Melissa) Dooley, Marsha D. (Jimps) Cole, C. Matthew (Patti) Dooley, M. Ben (Aubrey) Bullock, Clint S. (Meg) Bullock; and great-grandchildren, Mary Beth Dooley, Anna M. Dooley, Harrison Dooley, Molly Cole, Victoria Dooley, Jackson Bullock and Carson Bullock.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, at 11 a.m. at Hull Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Hull Baptist Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund or Hull Baptist Church Building Fund.
