RADFORD, VA. - Albert Lee Likens II was born on August 29, 1954, in Radford, Va. and was the oldest of three children.
He was the son of Dorothy Likens and the late Albert Lee LIkens. Lee grew up in Virginia Beach and later moved to Florida where he fell in love with a beautiful girl named Debbie, who became his wife on November 27, 1972. Lee was a loving husband, father and grandfather; known to his family as "Candyman". He was a hard worker and an avid fisherman and gardener. He was a big fan of the Vikings and Yankees and fortunately never those dirty Redskins. From his study of the Bible, Lee made his dedication to serve Jehovah God and symbolized this by water baptism in 1974. He gave much time and energy to volunteering at conventions and beautifying the Kingdom Hall.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 39 years, Debbie Likens; sister Kathi and her husband, Jim Driscoll; brother Mark Likens who all live in Virginia Beach; daughter Sarah Jones; son Michael Likens and his wife Sherri; daughter Heather and her husband Harvest Scott; and grandchildren, Ashley, Zachary, Alexis, Brandon, Thomas "TJ" and Amberleigh.
We look forward to welcoming Lee back to life in the promised resurrection.

Tom and I are so very sorry about losing Lee and we know you are all aching right now, but also know that Jehovah is helping you endure through this painful time. We look forward to the day when Rev.21: 3,4 are fulfilled and we see Lee and our son TJ again...and so many more..then Lee can fish to his heart's content and be with you all Forever.
