Alex Dockery (7-1-11)

MAYSVILLE – Alex Matthew Dockery, 27, died Friday, July 1, 2011.

He was the son of James T. Dockery of Danielsville and Judith Ann Melean of Hoschton. He worked HVAC all of his life and was employed by Halloran Masonry. He had a passion for racing, loved movies and his family. Alex was a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Jessica Dockery; a son, Matthew A. Dockery; daughter, Cora E. Dockery; brothers, Dusty R. Dockery and wife Charlotte, Hoschton, Wayne J. Dockery and wife Christina, Gillsville; loving family members Terry and Marie Hagwood; Timmy, Dora and Joey, Maysville; mother-in-law, Sharon Hessey, Lavonia; and father-in-law, Petey Henderson, Nicholson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 5, at Pond Fork Baptist Church in Pendergrass with the Rev. Johnny Knight, Dusty Dockery and Terry Hagwood officiating.

Lawson Funeral Home, Hoschton, was in charge of arrangements.
