COMER – James Ray Coile, 62, died Friday, July 1, 2011, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Born in Madison County on July 16, 1948, he was the son of the late James W. and Sue Coile Coile. He was a locksmith having worked with the University of Georgia. Mr. Coile was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Melvin Coile. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Gibson Coile, Comer; sons, Tommy Ray Coile and Jamie Lee Coile, both of Comer; brother, Ronnie E. Coile, Comer; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 4, from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with Mr. Odis Graham officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Comer.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
