Ilona “Anyu” Bottos, 1921 – 2011, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 21, 2011.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late István and Etelke Wolf Muller. Her faith gave her strength and peace. Ilona will be missed for her kind heart, smile and love she shared with everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bela Bottos; and grandson, Johnathan Rockwood.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Marti and Frank Rockwood, Atlanta, and Anne and Michael Turner, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Allie and Evie Rockwood and Emily and Carson Turner; great-grandson, Cole Jiles; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church, where she was a member and also a Mountain Climber. Pastor John Batusic and Chaplain Kennedy Smartt will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, 845 West Ridge Rd., Gainesville, GA 30501.
Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
