Norma Patricia Ross (6-16-11)

PENDERGRASS – Norma Patricia Ross, 74, died Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Born on April 14, 1937, in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Leroy and Raenell McElhannon Canup.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Ross; and a brother, Doug Canup.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Johnny Schramm, Pendergrass, Sharon Sanchez, Gainesville, Belinda and Dan Starrick, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Marie Ross, Pendergrass; sisters, Brenda Staples, Ann Dove, both of Hoschton; brothers, Verdell Canup, Martin, Ronald Canup, Hoschton; grandchildren raised in the home, Cecil Walker, Teela Walker, Miranda Ross, Tabby Sanchez and Brandy Sanchez; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 18, from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Bo Whisenant and Larry Long officiating. Burial was in the Covenant Blessing Tabernacle Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
