BOGART – Joyce Dunson Cheatham, 77, died Monday, June 13, 2011.

Born in Cumming, she was the daughter of the late George James and Willie Dee Mathis Dunson. She was formerly employed with Statham Garment Company.

Survivors include a daughter, Johanna Shuman (Nathan), Winder; brother, Ronald Dunson, Eustis, Fla.; and sisters, Sarah Hooper and Karen Shadley, both of Bogart.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with the Rev. William Whitfield officiating. Interment will be in the Providence United Methodist Church cemetery in Statham. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
