Mary Joyce Roberts (6-12-11)

GAINESVILLE – Mary Joyce Roberts, 90, died Sunday, June 12, 2011.

A lifetime resident of Hall County, she was born February 13, 1921 to the late Howard Samuel and Julie Victoria Poole Adams. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in their business. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, William Waymon Roberts; son, Stanley Roberts; grandchildren, Wesley William Roberts and Shawn Roberts; sister, Clara Mae Adams; and brothers, Mike (MC) Adams and Verner Adams.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Faye R. and Sherman Pass, Gainesville, sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney Roberts, and Jerry and Sandy Roberts, all of Gainesville, and Donald and Nancy Roberts, Pendergrass; grandchildren, Sherry Smith, Wayne Roberts, Stacey Gregg, Denise Echols, Greg Peck, Carol Poole, Justin Roberts, Melissa Parton, Michael Roberts, Adam Roberts and Jared Roberts; 21 great-grandchildren; special loving caregiver, Ruby Norrell and special niece, Jean Murphy, Pendergrass.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 15 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home with Mr. Greg Peck, Mr. Michael Roberts and Mr. Jonathon Echols officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will Tuesday, June 14, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
