Martha “Sue” Bailey (6-8-11)

WINDER — Martha “Sue” Bailey, 87, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011.

She was a member of Winder First Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was an avid gardener and loved watersports and dancing.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Flora Rutledge Wall; a son, Phil Bailey; a grandchild, Jonny Skinner; a great-grandson, Will Davidson; and a brother, Charles Wall.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Hulan Bailey; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Mary Bailey, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Sulan and Ricky Maxey, Winder; grandchildren, Richie Davidson, Joshua Bailey, Michael Bailey, Landon Bailey, Justin Maxey and Creston Maxey; great-grandchildren, Ariauna Bailey, Maggie Bailey, Grace Davidson, Tyler Skinnner, James Skinner and Zoie Skinner; brothers Ross Wall, Lawrenceville, and Larry Wall, Winder; and sisters, Jerrie Jones, Goosecreek, S.C., and Joyce Wall, Winder.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 10, at Winder First Baptist Church with John Talley and Pastor Joshua Bailey officiating. Burial was at the Barrow Memorial Gardens.
