JEFFERSON – Donnie Steve Shumake, 56, died Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Born on May 6, 1955, in Barrow County, he was the son of Mary Alice Taylor Auguletto of Stockbridge and the late Jack Harrison Shumake. He was the owner of Shumake Plumbing Company for many years. Mr. Shumake was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Shumake.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a daughter, Michelle Shumake Shore, Commerce; brothers, Tony Lee Shumake, Morrow, and Michael Charles Shumake, Stockbridge; sisters, Sherry and Candi; grandchildren, Haleigh and Andrew.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, at 1 p.m., from Evans Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Seay officiating. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson. Pallbearers will be Tracy Shumake, Clete Meadors, Brian Shore, Justin Shumake, Macke Griffith and Wayne Shumake.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
